The IAPD Magazine is the best place to promote and advertise your company to the entire plastics distribution channel.

The IAPD Magazine features a totally paid circulation of the membership of the IAPD and the European Plastics Distributors Association (EPDA). It also has a controlled circulation of top industry professionals with high levels of purchasing responsibility. The publication reaches the very largest down to the very smallest of distributors and manufacturers specializing in plastic sheet, rod, tube, pipe, fittings and valves. It also reaches high level end-users, fabricators and OEMs throughout North America and other industry professionals throughout the world. Forty-five percent of the total 10,000 circulation figure are IAPD/EPDA members, and 55 represent nonmembers.

Black & White Display Ads (Gross U.S. rates)
Nonmember advertisers must pay in advance by material deadline date.
IAPD members are entitled to a 15-percent discount on the gross ad rate.

Publication trim size: 8-1/2" x 11" (one page).
Bleed ads: add 1/8" on all sides (no additional charge for bleed). Size for full page ad that bleeds on all sides is 8-3/4'' x 11-1/4''.
Binding: Saddle stitch (June/July and October/November issues are perfect bound).

Color Rates
Costs are in addition to the black & white gross rate.
Two-color standard — $250
Two-color matched (PMS) — $400
Four-color process — $650

Premium Page Positions
Positions available on a first-come, first-served basis. Rates include four-color. For special position
requests other than those listed below (with publisher approval), add 10 percent to gross ad rate.

Material Requirements
Advertisements in Digital Format
Ad must be prepared to mechanical specifications shown above and provided in digital format. Clients will be expected to bear any and all costs incurred by the publisher for changing, correcting, reworking or repairing ad materials. The client assumes all responsibility for files that do not output correctly due to errors or omissions during production. Please do not submit native application files from programs such as Quark, InDesign or Publisher.

Format and File Preparation

• Preference for ad format is an EPS file (save files to a format for the ad to be placed in Quark for Windows). Include embedded fonts (or convert fonts to outlines) and embed all images at 300 dpi.
• Ads may also be sent as a high resolution PDF file — make sure all fonts and images are embedded.
• Ads must be saved in CMYK mode, not RGB or index color.

Sending ads

• Ads may be copied on a CD-ROM and mailed to IAPD headquarters or e-mailed to Janet Thill at jthill@iapd.org.

• All two-color or four-color ads must be provided with a high quality color proof.
